Surely, most of us have leafed through a magazine.

Let's imagine walking around the street and seeing the billboard of a famous perfume. Simply by scanning the image or the QR code, we can receive the exact location of all the stores that sell the product, click the link to visit the website to buy it online or watch the commercial.
If we are leafing through a car magazine, thanks to the scanned image of the imprinted car, we can visualize in AR the perfect 3D reconstruction of the advertised model, observe the details and all the mechanical features as if it were physically in front of us.
If we come across a leaflet that promotes a new restaurant, surely, we will be happy to know, with a simple click, the address and the path to reach it. We could even unlock the content that reveals us the menu of the day or read the reviews of those who has already been there.
These are just a few examples of how augmented reality, applied to advertising, is able to connect real and digital world, offering significant benefits to consumers, but above all to companies
